Appointments

Veterinary Referral

Prior to attending an appointment veterinary consent is required in line with The Veterinary Surgeons Act (1966). This means that consent from your vet is needed before any treatment is carried out. A phone call to inform your vet of the physiotherapy appointment is sufficient. However the consent form below must be completed prior to the appointment.

Therapy Sessions

What to expect

On Initial consultation general history information is taken from the owner. Following on from this you will be asked to move the animal to allow analysis of gait and static conformation. Palpation is then carried out to assess muscle tone, mass  and range of motion.

Once this has been completed a thorough therapeutic plan will be created to ensure the best outcome. The session will consist of manual techniques and electrotherapies. Exercise prescription is also utilised and can be given as daily exercises to be carried out at home. Further sessions, if required, can be discussed.

At the end of the session any information discussed will be emailed over or given as a hard copy for your records.

If you require any more information on appointment please do not hesitate to contact.
